Air conditioning in the hospital
Soltýš, Matej ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
Subject of this bachelor thesis is design of an air handling unit intended for air condition of a cleanroom hospital area. The work is divided into three parts – theoretical, computational and project one. Theoretical part summarizes the basic issues of a clean rooms in healthcare and requirements for indoor microclimate. Subject of the computational part is design of the three air handling units serving the operating rooms and their facilities. Air handling units provide required air exchanges, cover heat gains and heat losses and, in the case of the operating room units, also regulate humidity. Emphasis is placed on the air filtration so that it meets the conditions for a clean rooms of a given nature. The last project part contains pro-ject documentation of the proposed units at the construction project level.
Airconditioning in the clean space
Faltys, Michal ; Ell, Jiří (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with the designing of air conditioning system for clean spaces of operating rooms and spaces which are necessary for assuring of operation these operating rooms. The system is proposed to meet hygienic, operational and functional requirements for indoor microclimate of clean spaces. The task of this system is the transport of fresh air to interior, the covering of the heat looses during the winter and the covering of heat gains in summer. The equipment is also designed for regulation of air humidity in the interior. The theoretical part devotes to the issue of air conditioning of clean spaces generally, calculating and project´s parts devote of the concrete concept of two air conditioning equipments for the serving of clean spaces in the specified building. The result of this work is the detailed design work of these equipments.
Airconditioning in hospital
Minář, David ; Ell, Jiří (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on a proposal of air conditioning for clean spaces and their hinterlands, as well as for the hinterlands of laboratories, operating rooms, waiting rooms and X-rays. The devices are designed according to hygienic, operational and functional requirements of microclimates of buildings. The theoretical part deals with the issue of heat recovery systems. The calculation and the proposal part consist of three air conditioning devices for hot air heating and air conditioning of clean spaces and warm air ventilation of hinterlands of operating rooms, waiting rooms, X-rays, etc. The result of the thesis is detailed design of these devices.
Airconditioning of surgeries
Stojanová, Barbora ; Andrys, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the designing of air-conditioning on surgeries and spaces which are necessary for the operation of this surgeries. Air-conditioning equipment is proposed to meet hygienic and operational requirements. Computational part is designed on im-plementation project level. The theoretical part is focused on clean spaces, commissioning and final validation.
Aerosol and microbial microclimate of clean rooms
Stojanová, Barbora ; Andrys, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals with the issue of internal microclimate of clean rooms. The experimental part focuses on aerosol and microbial microclimate. Different operating and intervention rooms were measured and then evaluated whether the cleanroom would comply with the standard cleanliness class even in normal operation after previous validations. The microbial examination of different clean spaces investigated the extent to which the exact passive fall method and its evaluation were time-dependent. From the data the correct desing of the air-conditioning system and its subsequent realization and regultion were verified. The theoretical part describes requirements for clean rooms according to SÚKL-LEK 17 and ČSN EN ISO 14644-1. In addition, a detailed methodology of the procedure of air-conditioning implementation is elaborated to the final validation and testing of clean rooms.
Dog Shelter with Veterinary Facilities
Hulenková, Barbora ; Oravec, Pavel (referee) ; Fišarová, Zuzana (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of this closed area of the shelter dogs with veterinary facilities and administration shelter in a specific location in the outskirts of Bystřice pod Hostýnem, street Meziříčská. It is a building amenities. In addition to the project itself is part of the job specialization - health and technical installations and connections. The work was developed in response to a bachelor thesis. The intention is to create a functional device with everyday hour, which will be provided by 7 employees. Given that the region is not represented such a device, its implementation will meet the requirements and demands of citizens of the town but also surrounding communities. The capacity of the shelter is designed based on the client's requirements with the possibility of placing domestic animals in max. Of 50 dogs, 50 cats and 16 small animals. Unless capacity is full, the device can be used as an animal hotel. In its own proposal, the emphasis was on the overall architectural character and design solutions. Structures in the area are designed from the structural system KM BETA with a contact system. The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of this closed area of the shelter dogs with veterinary facilities and administration shelter in a specific location in the outskirts of Bystřice pod Hostýnem, street Meziříčská. Potential health and hygiene risks of staff work in the orthopedic operating room
SVOBODOVÁ, Viera
Work in operating theatres is very demanding. The specifics of operating theatre operations imply a number of potential risks to which operating theatre staff are exposed. The aim of the Bachelor's thesis was first to briefly describe the possible risks, to find out the opinion of general nurses on the occurrence of selected risks in the orthopaedic operating room and then to compare the level of concern in relation to age. In order to achieve the stated aim, we developed a questionnaire based on the theoretical part of the thesis and conducted a survey among general nurses working in the orthopaedic ward. A total of 110 questionnaires were completed by perioperative and anaesthetic nurses. The results were then evaluated including statistical processing. Three hypotheses were set in relation to the objectives. For all three hypotheses, we hypothesized that the perception of the difficulty of the work and the level of risk apprehension in the orthopedic ward would be related to age. The results obtained can be briefly summarized as follows: in the perception of the individual respondents of risks and stressful situations, in relation to the age of the respondents, the dependence on age was demonstrated in only one category. Only in the evaluation of the question on the observance of meal breaks, a link with age was demonstrated. Thus, only in this single category did the level of negative perception decrease with increasing age. The result of the research showed that the older the OR staff is, the less stressful this particular situation is for them. The negative perception of the physical stress associated with the work increases with age. Similarly, the questionnaires confirmed a higher perception of the psychological demands of working in the operating theatre in relation to age. Furthermore, there was evidence of a high prevalence of health and psychological problems that staff associated with working in an orthopaedic operating theatre. Accurate knowledge of the perception of health and hygiene risks and stressors by operating room staff can provide useful information when trying to improve working conditions in a targeted manner.
